One to One Training 

Whether you need help training your puppy or you are experiencing a specific behaviour challenge with your dog, my one to one training programs can be tailored to meet you and your dog's needs.

I will be able to offer in person one to one training at Henllan, nr Llandysul from JULY 2025.

If you are outside this area don't worry! All my one to one programs are also offered over Zoom video.  See below on how Zoom training can work for you and your dog.

additional online learning & support

All my one to one programs include access to my online learning hub.  

You'll have access to a huge library of video tutorials and additional information to dip in and out of as much or as little as you want.

The online content will also back up what you're learning in the one to one sessions. This helps with practise between sessions.

After each one to one session I'll WhatsApp or email you direct links to relevant videos and information.

You can watch and rewatch the videos as many times as you need to.

You can also watch with the rest of the family so that everyone is onboard with the training!

ongoing support

I'm also there to support you in between sessions, think of it like having a Trainer in Your Pocket.

Should you get stuck or run into a problem or just have some questions about the training you can text me or message me on WhatsApp and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

One to One training over Zoom

Here’s how training with me on a one to one basis over Zoom could be great for you and your dog.

Most people assume that to be able to train their dog to walk nicely on the lead, have great recall, not lunge at other dogs or bikes or work with other behaviour problems they need to take their dog to training classes or find a trainer who will work them on a one to one basis in person.

In person training is great for some dogs and their people.  But Zoom video sessions can work just as well and for some dogs and their people can be more beneficial.  

As a one to one trainer I always tell people “all learning starts at home, in a safe, relaxed environment with no distractions, giving your dog the best opportunity for success”.

Training over Zoom fits this perfectly.  It wasn’t until the first Covid lockdown when we were forced to work remotely that I discovered just how effective remote training over Zoom could be and how much dogs and their people can benefit.  

Put yourself in your dog’s place. If you were trying to learn a new skill could you do that in a distracting environment or with a strange person suddenly appearing?  Some dogs are fearful around strangers. Some are giddy with excitement and struggle to calm.  

Training with me one to one over Zoom means we don’t waste time at the beginning of our training sessions calming your dog down when I arrive, or you putting the kettle on and making me a cuppa.  

You can train with me over Zoom either on a one to one basis, or join one of my Zoom group training classes.  

In a Zoom group training class you and your dog can learn new skills in a familiar, non distracting environment.  

Joining a Zoom group class means you don’t have to travel, so many dogs find travelling in the car stressful and arrive at classes already feeling overwhelmed.

If you have a young dog or a dog that struggles around other dogs a Zoom training class gives your dog the BEST start to learning by setting your dog up for success.  It makes it a lot less stressful for your dog and a lot less stress for you.  

Training your dog over Zoom is brilliant for teaching those really important foundation skills.  

It provides you and your dog the perfect environment for learning to take place.
